Let me tell you a Story
The time was 2:48 am. The place was the Emergency Department. The person was our founder, Dr. Blackbeard. The ER was popping, rooms filled with patients, and hallways lined with beds. Dr. Blackbeard was in the peak of night shift, but his mind was struggling to keep up. He looked around, rubbed his eyes, and exclaimed “I need coffee, STAT!”. He overheard a colleague utter “same!”, and realized that the team needed a boost. He darted over to the coffee machine and made a few cups, thereby reigniting the much-needed flames of energy. As he sipped his cup of “focus potion”, he grimaced at the lingering taste of bitterness and microplastics. Is this coal water or coffee? There had to be a better way.
The better way is here, and it’s the way of STAT Café.
